HOW WE DO OUR BUSINESS
Simpchik employs community labor, unemployed youths, educated youths and we train them into becoming agricultural value chain experts.
Simpchik works in partnership with educational institutions like universities taking students for attachment for practical training as labor. We also employ women and the elderly citizens who are employed for part-time work like dressing chickens and the packaging part as well thus fulfilling Patson Gasura’s desire to put the community at heart as a top priority.
Our Staff is divided into 3 broad terms
- Full-Time Staff: We have got 6 employees that are employed on permanent basis and the receive remuneration from Simpchik’s income generating projects.
- Part-Time Staff: These are students from agricultural colleges who seeks to gain practical training since we are also a training institution.
- Community: Labor from men and women from the community. We buy them chicks and we give them after training so that they rear the chicks and when they are ready for the market we then pay them.
